Run from the giant creepy faces
Meme Face Hide and Seek is a free game with a survival horror theme. Playing as either a survivor or a monster, you must take part in a chase between predator and prey, either picking off victims or running for your life.
The game is very similar to Survive in Horror Face Chasing and Horror Face Chasing Time. Like those titles, it blends the aesthetics of survival horror with a strain of surreal internet humor to create a bizarre gaming experience.
Monster or survivor
Depending on the level, Meme Face Hide and Seek allows the player to control either a survivor or a monster. If you are a survivor, then your job is to collect coins while avoiding the giant Meme Face. If you choose to play a monster, however, then you'll help other Meme Faces pick off survivors.
Monster mode is easier
Of the two roles, the monster mode is the easiest to play. Hunting down and killing the survivors is a simpler process than running from a pursuing enemy. The only thing that you will really have to worry about is running out of time. Note that monsters, like survivors, can also pick up coins.
A bizarre sense of humor
Anyone expecting a typical survival horror game from Meme Face Hide and Seek might be in for a surprise. Despite the creepy surroundings and eerie music, the game has a weird sense of humor. The survivors are all colorful Muppet-like characters, while the monsters include a giant mustached Shrek lookalike.
Quirky and fiddly
Meme Face Hide and Seek suffers from fiddly mechanics, particularly when playing as a survivor: it's too easy to get stuck behind the scenery. Still, as a free game with an oddball aesthetic, it should appeal to players who want unusual survival horror.
